Not those guys—neither an IT shop nor the vendor

Focus centers on support, operational reporting and analytics, and revenue cycle management—followed by implementation, multi-site rollouts, interfaces, and acquisition conversions—all on Homecare Homebase, independent of who sold the licenses.

Computing & You

We help home health, hospice, and personal-care organizations get the platform live, connected, and usable across every branch. Revenue cycle and analytics stay inside the system you already licensed.

EMR Support

Live Homecare Homebase—after go-live, after an acquisition, when unbilled and PointCare lag start to show.

Same operator. Twenty-plus years of enterprise support across 18 states, including system administration from July 2006 through two subsequent acquisitions, still Tier 3 today. Independent of the vendor.

ABOUT COMPUTING & YOU

Computing & You - One Operator

Keep Homecare Homebase as the system of record. Reporting and claims stay in the platform you licensed—not a side spreadsheet.

One operator

Homecare Homebase stays the system of record—not a weekly export. Revenue cycle and analytics are built to how your agency runs. If that platform is already the plan, we help you execute it without stalling operations.

Most people know either agency operations or enterprise go-lives. I have done both, without stopping the business.

Licensed nurse with more than forty years in healthcare and twenty years in home health, hospice, pediatrics, and private duty—that is why Pathways, PointCare, OASIS / HOPE gates, orders, and claims are configured to how clinicians and billing actually work, not only how the software ships.

One operator who owns payor configuration, RCM review, and operational reporting means documentation, orders, and claims stay on one path—and Billing, QA, Ops, and the PMO can open Monday reports that answer real questions. More than twenty years in integration, implementation, and support. Independent of the vendor.

The case for one operator

  • Team lead on the majority of 26 Homecare Homebase projects across 212+ sites
  • Owner of payor configuration and RCM review; reporting built from the EMR’s data, not a side system
  • Ad hoc support across integration, implementation, Pathways, PointCare, training, and operational reporting
  • Two decades of pattern recognition from many agencies—not a single playbook used once
  • Independent of the vendor. I do not sell licenses. Limited projects so each agency gets direct attention

Prior corporate merger work matters for one reason: live systems integrated under a deadline, with many stakeholders, while operations kept running. Home health acquisitions feel the same. The platform only pays off when RCM, payor configuration, Pathways, PointCare, training, and operational reporting match how your agency runs—not how the software ships out of the box.

How the work runs
I configure Homecare Homebase so documentation, orders, and claims move in one path. The EMR stays the system of record. I stay through the next billing cycles—not a dashboard that only passed a demo.

  • Collect — Payor source and authorization programs; episode readiness; OASIS / HOPE and visit completion as billing gates; claim edits inside the EMR; unbilled and held-claim queues by branch and payer
  • See — Stock Homecare Homebase Analytics first. Scheduled extracts or a light warehouse only when the stock pack cannot carry the question. Monday reports Ops, Billing, QA, and the PMO can act on
  • Stabilize — Days in unbilled, first-pass yield, reject cycle time, RAP / NOA or timely-filing misses, LUPA and episode leakage—measured and owned through the next billing cycles

Work starts with a working session: who opens which report, why claims sit, and what “done” means for this agency. You leave with a roadmap, owners, cadence, cost view, and a schedule—not a slide deck that ignores PointCare lag, payer mix, or branch queues.

One operator. One system of record. RCM and analytics that match the agency—not the default install. Independent of the vendor.
